A new study by Kantar, a data insights and consulting company, explores specific sentiments about home and lifestyle needs post-pandemic. The AMERICA AT HOME study was a nationally representative survey of U.S. adults, aged 25-74 years of age, with household incomes of $50,000+/year, conducted online.
Here locally in Chatham and Chapel Hill, NC prospective clients are reflecting the same desires that the study highlights. Buyers want more outdoor space and more flex space. Work culture has shifted to the home office being a must-have item. The Triangle is receiving 80-100 new residents a day. New Construction currently lags behind. The average median price for homes has skyrocketed and material costs for renovation and new construction have doubled and sometimes tripled.
